  8. I received a disk recently which had a readme.com on it. I ran it and it
  9. was just a kind of MORE program. I thought that I could do better so 
  10. today I spent about 4 hours and produced TXT2COM.ARC which takes an 
  11. ascii text file and converts it to a COM file. It allows full screen 
  12. scrolling, etc ala Vern's List, but its not as fast or as good. Vern 
  13. should really be writing this. I did add color ability and the ability 
  14. to print out the file. I am going to use it for my documentation until 
  15. Vern produces a better one. DLOAD it and tell me if you like it.
  16. This is the kind of utility that Blacher loves, but I can tell that my 
  17. quick and dirty approach to programming is not going to please him.
